The food was, as usual, exemplary and was thoroughly enjoyable. The entertainment was of the highest order with five members of Rochester Cathedrals Special Choir singing for us. They were Rosemary Clemence, Rachel Curtis, Susan Brock, Chris Clemence and Brian Gipps who directed them. Their music, beautifully sung, ranged from the sacred to the secular.
We were particularly pleased to welcome Reg. Adams with his wife Brenda who have, regrettably because of health problems, not been able to get along to so many meetings recently. Reg, in his own inimitable style, gave a vote of thanks to our performers and organizers in the unfortunate absence of our President who had been brought down by a tummy bug.
